Morelena Housing

This proposal is for 6 new homes on a existent rural site within the grounds of Morelena, Sintra. The scheme offers new build family houses as well as modern private spaces for the use of the new residents. This project required a sensitive design strategy and a process involving extensive consultation with both the Client and Sintra Council in order to maintain the sustainability of the project. A shared ‘alley’ encouraging small children’s play and communal gathering/pool is accessible from each home – a secure place which only key holders (residents) can access.
